A consumer society, the different perspective

Every relationship has to endure difficult periods, every couple might have some trouble at any point in their relationship. In the past these things were easier to solve than they are now. These days, when things go bad, people are tempted to an endless variety of communication. Snapchat, instagram, facebook put us in contact with so many people we seem to forget and lose grip of what might actually be important in our direct lives. As things don’t always go like we want them to go. We tend to search for appreciation and love elsewhere. Instead of fixing the existing relationships we once cherished so much. Our consumer society seems to have broadened to a form where even our interconnection is devaluating to temporalities. Lasting relations are becoming a rare phenomenon due to the constant stimuli provided by the technology we created. It gives us many oppertunities but it also seems to go at cost of many beautiful things. People seem to become options. Our instagram filters seem to become representatives of the real us. It seems like people seem to lose their grip on reality. A constant chase for the things that appear to be.
